Day 1: Ten Bompas Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa

Upon arrival at O.R Tambo International Airport (formally Johannesburg International Airport) on day one of your South Africa holiday, you will be met and transferred to the Ten Bompas Hotel, situated just 40 minutes by road from the airport. You spend the night at Ten Bompas Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Ten Bompas Hotel

This morning after breakfast you are picked up from the hotel for an exciting half day trip to the Lesedi Cultural Village. Here you will enjoy a unique cultural experience, learning more about the 5 ethnic groups from South Africa, including a traditional lunch and a cultural dance show. Overnight is a Ten Bompas Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

After breakfast you are picked up from the Ten Bompas Hotel for your one hour transfer to Sun City, where you will be staying at the Sun City Cabanas Hotel. Your afternoon is spent at leisure at the Waterpark or just relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. Overnight is at Sun City Cabanas Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4: Sun City Cabanas Hotel

You spend another day of your South Africa holiday at leisure, enjoying the many attractions and facilities of the Sun City resort. Overnight is at Sun City Cabanas Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 5: Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse, Cape Town, South Africa

After breakfast you will be picked up for your transfer back to O.R Tambo International where you will catch your flight to Cape Town.

Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, a transfer vehicle will be waiting to take you to Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse where you will be spending the night. Overnight is at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse on a bed and breakfast basis.

Accommodation: Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse is ideally situated in the beautiful city of Cape Town in South Africa. Situated only 12 minutes on foot from the bustling centre of Cape Town, the regal Cape Victorian homestead was built in the 1800's and offers a fine example of architecture of the bygone era.

Day 6: Garden Route, South Africa

After an early morning start you will be picked up from the guesthouse for your 3 night Garden Route tour.

You leave Cape Town and travel through Sir Lowry's Pass via Elgin to Swellendam. Explore this historical town and the Drostdy Museum (included in cost) before enjoying a lunch stop (not included in cost) in Barrydale.

The tour then continues on to Oudtshoorn for dinner and overnight accommodation. Overnight is at Hlangana Lodge/Queens Hotel or similar on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Day 7: Garden Route, South Africa

Enjoy a morning tour of the Cango Caves (included in cost) at Oudtshoorn and visit the Cango Cheetah and Crocodile Ranch (included in cost) before lunch (not included) at Highgate Ostrich Farm.

The afternoon is spent touring the farm (included in cost) and optional Ostrich rides are available for the more brave at heart. Dinner and overnight accommodation is in Oudtshoorn. Overnight is at Hlangana Lodge/Queens Hotel or similar on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Day 8: Laird's Lodge, Garden Route, South Africa

Today your tour continues through the magnificent Outeniqua Pass to George, where you board the Outeniqua 'Choo Tjoe' steam train (included in cost) for one of the world's most picturesque rail journeys to Knysna.

Arrive at Knysna for lunch (not included in the cost) at 'The Heads', a scenic lookout spot. Board the John Benn Ferry (included in cost) for a cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. You will spend the night in either Knysna or Plettenberg Bay. Overnight is at Laird's Lodge or similar on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

After waking up early you depart for the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. Take a hike to Storms River Mouth and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean from the suspension bridge. You return to Knysna for lunch (not included in the cost) before returning to Cape Town via the N2.

Upon your return to Cape Town from the Garden Route tour you will be dropped off at the guesthouse where you will be staying for the next 4 nights. Overnight is at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 10: Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse

You have the whole day to explore the vibrant city of Cape Town in your own time, perhaps do some shopping at the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, visit Table Mountain, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant and arty flea markets of Greenmarket Square. Overnight is at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 11: Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse

You spend the day at leisure, discovering the many jewels of the Mother City - Cape Town. Overnight is at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 12: Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse

Today you are picked up from your hotel for a full day Cape Point and Peninsula visit - an awe inspiring tour to the towering headland known as Cape Point.

Magnificent beaches, breathtaking scenery, and historic and picturesque coastal villages are to be seen along the way. The Cape Peninsula is one of the world's most scenic areas and stretches from the city centre to Cape Point.

You travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at Llandudno lookout point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain and beach views.

Seal Island boat trip (seasonal and not included in the cost).

You continue on through Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, home to magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and Zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. Cape Point is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included in the cost), you go on to the historic Simon's Town, a village with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large Penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The tour ends after a visit to the well known Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Overnight is at Leeuwenvoet Guesthouse on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 13: Rhino Post Lodge, Kruger National Park, South Africa

This morning you check out from your guesthouse after breakfast and transfer back to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA).

You are met on arrival at KMIA and transferred to Rhino Post Lodge in the Kruger National Park. The afternoon after check in you will have your first exciting 3-4 hour game drive through the heart of the bush.

This game drive doubles as a night drive as you witness the nocturnal world of the Park come alive. Return to your lodge for dinner and conversation. Overnight is at Rhino Post Lodge, fully inclusive of accommodation, 3 meals daily, and morning and afternoon/evening game drives.

Days 14 - 15: Rhino Post Lodge

Enjoy 2 full days of your South Africa holiday on early morning and late afternoon game drives, with time in between to relax and enjoy your tranquil surroundings. Overnight is at Rhino Post, fully inclusive of accommodation, 3 meals daily and morning and afternoon/evening game drives.

Day 16: Depart

After breakfast and a morning game drive, you will be transferred back to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Johannesburg where you tour will end.
